Level 94 is the 94th Level of The Backrooms.
Description
Level 94 appears to be a fake world crafted with a constant grainy effect and a stop-motion like feel. The Level is split in 4 different parts, each one being connected to one another.
Town Description
| House-17.png |
![]() |
The Main Town, consists of self-repeating houses, sometimes having white wooden fences, grass hills in which are generated infinitely and massive water towers, containing gallons of Almond Water.
These same houses are very small, and are made out of almond-colored wood, with white lines surrounding the walls, also having a darker almond shade at the top of the house, bricks, shingles for the roof, 5 individual blacked out windows, and a chimney. All houses share these same exact features, and sometimes their almond-like color may be inverted, while some are constantly repeating.
The inside of these houses are usually made up out of a living room containing a ceiling fan, sofas, and a TV, a bedroom upstairs containing a bed, desks, and a wardrobe, a kitchen near the living room, and a single bathroom, most of which contain furniture from the 50s, while others have furniture from the 30s, all fridges contain food, and also Almond Water, the entire house are lit up by light bulbs at the ceiling, the house also has several outlets spread all over the rooms, all of these features makes the Level habitable, if you know what you're doing.
The architecture is reminiscent of that of the 70s, even though the actual houses in our Baseline Reality was made during 2003. Siren poles which are spread throughout the Level play cartoony music, and sometimes even vaporwave-like music, though most of the music they play are unrecognizable, as if the Level itself made up its own music, though residents claim that it helps them clear their thoughts, and appears to "restore" one's sanity.
The town despite being made up entirely out of houses and hills, there are also several milk vans, all containing Almond Milk inside, all of the milk inside are consumable, and have little to no chances of being spoiled. The town itself is overall safe, and having plenty of residents living inside the houses, though there are also inhuman habitants present in the town, which are called Stop-Motions.

Stop-Motions are the town's many residents, in which they can choose to either help you, or do nothing about your problems, though there are some travelers that have settled down in Level 94, which are open to trade, and help you out of the Level.
The hills of Level 94 are constantly repeating, and will fluctuate in height, giving it a round-like appearance, they may also contain signs saying "NO OUTLET", and trees at the top of the hills, these same hills are where houses and water towers are found most commonly, all of the hills in Level 94 are made up out of only grass, no matter how much you attempt to dig, there will be no dirt, nor soil, dirt can only be found in paths, and because of the fact that trees will still grow on these same hills it is believed that the grass itself is fertile.
The paths present in Level 94 are either made up out of dirt, or asphalt, reminiscent to that of the street, dirt paths are most commonly found in The Main Town, while streets are found in massive hill landscapes, far away from the town, and is also where milk vans are found the most, making it a very active area for scavengers, and for the residents as well.
Night-Time in Level 94 is the most dangerous part of the Level, as during this time, Stop-Motions will start to turn hostile, and several other Life-Forms will start manifesting, such as Smilers, Hounds and Skinstealers, as soon as the Level turns night, all music playing will stop abruptly, Life-Forms may or not also attack each other, as they only attack those who aren't animated the same way as they are, clay Life-Forms will attack animatronic Life-Forms, but will be passive towards their own kind, this also applies to non-animated Life-Forms which will turn animated in this Level, such as Smilers, and so forth.
History
Level 94 was discovered back during an expedition in Level 68, back then as we were documenting Level 94, it used to be called Level 68-B, as we assumed it was merely an extension of the Level we had discovered Level 94, however as we kept exploring and documenting this Level, we have decided that the Level would be considered as its own thing.
Anomalies
The main anomaly and also the most common one, are glitches, which occur at random. These glitches can cause houses to noclip through each-other, float in the air, be upside-down, etc.
Accessibility Methods
Entrances
Noclipping through the movie screen in Level 68 will lead one to Level 94.
There have been reports of other entrances to Level 94 existing throughout The Backrooms, though they are yet to be confirmed.
Exits
There is no proper exit out of Level 94, some have managed to leave, while some couldn't, it is merely by random that one gets to leave Level 94, the most common way to leave the Level is through the funhouse, it will most likely have an exit to Level 95.
No-Clipping through a terminal in the funhouse may lead you to Level 94.1, though this is very unreliable.

Too Far Gone
| Deceiving-Smile-5.jpg |
![]() |
After going too far away from The Castle of The Transparent Hill, you seem to have found a completely different area.
Individuals who go this far in the Level will be greeted by a bright sun with a smile emoji instead of the actual celestial body's appearance. The main area of this section will feel strangely familiar and have a resemblance to the hilly grasslands used as wallpapers by many old windows desktop computers.
Although the sun isn't overtly hostile, staring at it for a prolonged period of time can render you only able to see a mass of jumbled static when you open your eyes for a few seconds. Avoiding this sun is nearly impossible, as no matter which direction you look, it has the anomalous ability to always be in your line of sight as long as you're looking at the sky.
This area will be completely devoid of Stop-Motions besides the Smiling Sun, but will have an extremely isolating feeling that causes many of travelers to begin running in an attempt to avoid the gaze of the ominous sun. When you leave the spawn section of this section, things will start to get even stranger.
Starting about 6 km from where you are, houses will begin to appear again, and the "sun" will begin to randomly disappear and reappear in the sky, though the Level will remain brightly lit throughout these events. Entering these houses will reveal them to be completely bare, save for a few photographs scattered on the floor and pinned to the walls. All the photographs found in these houses will be infected with Photo-Ocular Syneresis.
After a further 6 miles, Travelers will begin to approach the end of this Level, where it will start generating in a odd way. This area is at the same as the first two, but as you proceed the ground will move in an undulating pattern with every step you take, causing enormous tidal waves to ripple across the grasslands of Level 94. This can be incredibly frightening and disorienting, and causes many of those who reach this point to turn back in terror.
Photo-Ocular Syneresis Effect
| Take-A-Look.png |
![]() |
Photo-Ocular Syneresis is the name given to the photographic phenomena which occurs on this section of the Level, for an unfathomable reason, if you take a photo at this point, some of the photos will have text on them. Eyes can also manifest on the photos after the text is read by a sentient Life-Form.
If these eyes are then looked at for too long, they will manifest physically within a radius of 2 meters from the photo. It is believed that this is how all Eyes in this section are created, though this theory is yet to be confirmed. Photographs affected by this phenomena can be highly valuable outside the Level, though it cannot be used to summon Eyes on Levels outside of Level 94.
These photographs look as if they were generated by an AI, as no such area in this section exist in these photographs found inside the houses, making it one of the first ever mysteries of this Level. Because it is unknown if this section is constantly shifting (Thus not having any miniature version in The Animated Studio) or if it is a completely different Level that has been photographed and had been altered here.
Taking a photograph here will for sure manifest the effect, though this cannot be said for the eyes, as they are apparently unique to random photographs found in the houses around in this part of Level 94.
Events
The only event present in this section of the Level is the sun disappearing, apparently it has some sort of connection between the Level turning into night-time, but since you are so far away from where you are supposed to, it seems to completely break down and only get rid of the sun, the sky will be completely black but will still maintain the brightness. Though it still is as cold as a normal night in Level 94.
