| Level 11's city seen from a rooftop of one of its numerous buildings. |
Level 11 consists of a city of indeterminate size. Buildings of various heights and sizes populate the level, interconnected by numerous roads and highway systems, with buildings, stores, and skyscrapers.
This Level includes buildings that can be found in a typical city in our reality. The interiors of these buildings are randomized in structure and furniture, some buildings are empty, while others are fully furnished. Certain buildings are accessible, while others are not.
The interiors of the buildings are strange and anomalous, as one can find stairways leading to a wall, doors located on the sides of buildings, etc. The shops, while mainly derelict, occasionally contain useful items. Gravity does not seem to affect these buildings. Some buildings have been reported to be strangely placed on top of one another, floating, or even clipping inside each other, which is physically impossible.
According to several reports, Level 11 evokes strong feelings of nostalgia in those who enter it, especially those who grew up in an urban environment. The structure of Level 11 seems to be always shifting, and Travelers have reported buildings moving hundreds of feet while out of sight, similar to Level 0, this only happens in the city of Level 11.
The time of Level 11 is completely frozen and is always dusk, which can make it hard to sleep, although some Levels show Level 11 during night-time.
There are multiple nuclear power plants, that have signs of radiation in the reactor shafts throughout Level 11 and are present 800 kilometers apart, these plants do not appear to be operational, yet still, emit dangerous levels of radiation. Theories prove that they were abandoned a very long time ago.
The concrete sidewalks are mostly normal, but the sidewalks can rarely lead to a dead end, or clip through buildings. Some walkways just lead up towards the sky like a ramp. The asphalt roads of Level 11 are apparently very warm and dry, the opposite of Level 9. The roads are painted similar to casual roads with yellow lines. Similarly to Level 9, the street lamps in this level occasionally flicker on and off.
Level 11 has many city landmarks from all over our reality's world. These landmarks can be recognized as buildings from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Toronto, and many more. Even the ones that have been destroyed, because of these landmarks, Level 11 is the only Level other than Level 36 to have relations with Level 37, as they share the same landmarks.
This Level has functioning electricity and is mostly habitable for those who want to take a break. Level 11 also has plenty of air conditioners placed on the outside of a building, even though this does not affect the Level's temperature at all.
There are several other buildings on this Level that can't be considered a shop or anything like it, like empty airports that are all closed up, subway stations that appear to be functional, related to Level 90, and wide-open parks with actual grass and trees, including benches as well.
Level 11, despite being mostly built out of buildings, roads, streetlamps, and the such, the Level also has a normal landscape, instead of being completely flat, the way it always has been depicted. Looking at the buildings from a distance is a good example of how uneven the Level's landscape is.
Details
Level 11 is also cluttered with parks, plazas, and metro stations. Some Travelers have founded their own establishments, selling items found during their journey throughout The Backrooms.
These structures have the same properties as the rest of the buildings in Level 11 mentioned previously. Wi-Fi in Level 11 does, in fact, exist and is active. The names of these connections are very random, with no pattern, which include 'KTUcfJe20W', 'Q1lyxzkayR', and others.
Almond Water is a common item in Level 11, ranging from water fountains, commercial freezers, soda vending machines, and more.
Events
THE DOOMSDAY EVENT
Although Level 11 is safe and mostly devoid of any hostile Life-Forms, strange phenomena often occur without explanation. These events pose major threats to the inhabitants of Level 11.
The most recent event to have occurred was on April 22nd, 2021.
﹥ The sky turned bright red, and major earthquakes destroyed the city. In the distance, strange distorted noises were reported being heard. When everything finally calmed down, people were missing and the city had magically repaired itself.
