| Photograph of a Meatsack in Level 93. |
Meatsacks are large fleshy Life-Forms that resemble a sack like shape with fleshy vine-like features that spread throughout the Level's layout and flesh bubbles growths around the Life-Form. The large sacks and bubbles are usually connected to the ceiling or walls of an area using it's flesh to connect itself to it's surroundings. Meatsacks have been seen to have pulsing veins and unknown organs inside of them which can pulse slightly and give the sacks a weird shaping.
Meatsacks bubble sizes can vary however their diameter is usually around 1 to 2 meters. Most reports of explorers interacting with Meatsacks claim that their flesh is very sticky and warm.
They also seem to share a respiratory system similar to humans as sacks can be seen increasing and decreasing in size whilst taking in air and letting out CO2 and unknown toxic substances. Meatsacks produce a strange and quiet sloshing sound of the meat and organs inside of them, this means that they aren't quiet noticeable until a someone or something has seen them.
Around the Meatsacks are fleshy vine-like features that slowly spread over time and can block off entire hallways if grown large enough. If there are enough of these vine-like fleshy features then bubbles can grow that share similar traits to Meatsacks but are different in behavior.
But for some unfathomable reason, Meatsacks usually stop producing after 2 or 3 sacks. These flesh bubbles do not produce any more bubbles, making the size of a fully grown Meatsack's area to be only around 3 to 5 meters in range from the Meatsack. It seems that more Meatsacks have appeared over time since the original discovery of the Life-Form, it is unknown if these have any correlation or if it is just coincidence.
Behaviour
Meatsacks are stationary but hostile, usually hiding in corners or in hallways to spring an attack on humans in danger to slow them down.
Upon a human coming too close to a Meatsack or flesh bubbles, them seem to burst themselves; releasing a huge amount of their insides like organs, meat, and flesh. These chunks of flesh and meat fly out at such a high velocity and such a large amount that they can stun and pin down humans. These bursts also release a large amount of the unknown substance that can burn a human's skin giving them 2nd or 3rd degree burns.
Meatsacks seem to have a strong understanding of locations of other nearby Life-Forms; this strong intelligence and awareness allows them to prepare to burst when a human is being chased by other Life-Forms to catch them off guard and get them killed. Due to this behavior, it seems like Meatsacks and other Life-Forms have grown a somewhat alliance with each other.
Discovery
Meatsacks were first discovered around 1962 when a crude painting was found on the walls portrayed a Meatsack in Level 5 which began a small search for this unknown Life-Form, despite being firstly believed to not exist as it was merely a painting. It was later found in the same year in Level 93 but it is unknown whoever made the original painting.
